These terms apply to this website. They are an agreement between you and the company named at the foot of this page. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
What this site is
This site is informational. It describes a product, points at public source repositories, and lists the integrations that product ships with. Reading it does not create an account, a subscription, a trial, or any right to use the product itself. Nothing here is an offer, and nothing here is advice you should act on without checking it against the documentation.
Access to the product is by invitation
There is no public sign-up. The only way to ask for access is the request form on the home page, and sending it obliges us to nothing: we may accept, decline, or simply not reply, for any reason or none. If we do grant access, that access comes with its own separate written agreement, and that agreement — not this page — decides what you may do with the product, what it costs, and what happens to the data you put in it.
The software is licensed separately
Nothing on this page licenses any software. The source code we publish is governed by the licence file inside each repository, and those licences differ from one repository to the next: some are permissive, some are source-available and convert to a permissive licence on a schedule written into the licence itself. Those files are the whole of the grant. These terms cover this website only and cannot widen, narrow, or reinterpret what a code licence gives you.
The site’s own content
The text, page design and diagrams on this site are ours. You are welcome to read them, quote them with attribution, and link to any page here. You may not pass the content off as your own, and you may not use our name or our marks in a way that suggests we endorse, sponsor or supply something we do not.
Third-party names, trademarks and logos — including the vendor logos beside the integrations we list — remain their respective owners’ property. We show them to identify the service an integration talks to; that implies no endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation either way.
Using the site sensibly
The site is a set of static pages. Please do not try to break into it, disrupt it for other people, or hammer it hard enough to degrade it for them; and please do not use it to do anything unlawful. If you think you have found a security problem, report it to the contact address at the foot of this page rather than demonstrating it against the live site — the security page explains what to include.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted or free of error. Descriptions of the product in particular can run ahead of, or behind, what any given release does; the documentation and the repositories are the authority on what actually ships. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost goodwill, arising out of your use of this site — whether the claim is brought in contract, in tort, or on any other basis, and even if we had been told such loss was possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising out of this site is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Some places do not allow some of these exclusions; where that is so, they apply to you only as far as that place permits, and the rest of these terms still stand.
Links to other places
We link to repositories, vendor documentation and other third-party sites. We do not control them, we do not vouch for what they say, and we are not responsible for their content or for how they treat information about you. Following such a link takes you outside this agreement.
Privacy
What this site collects, and every third party it loads while you read it, is set out on the privacy page — including the fact that analytics and error reporting run without asking you first.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date it last changed is shown below it. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the changed version. We do not keep an archive of earlier versions here, so if a particular version matters to you, keep your own copy.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts sitting there have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.
Notice
Formal notice under these terms goes to the contact address at the foot of this page, and is treated as given on the day we acknowledge it.
