io.w6w.pandadocPandaDoc creates documents from templates, sends them out for signature, and tracks their status through completion — and this app covers that lifecycle: creating a document from a template, sending it, checking and changing its status, downloading the signed PDF, and reading back the templates, contacts and webhook subscriptions that feed those steps, over PandaDoc’s own API.
Because PandaDoc merges a template asynchronously, this app exposes the intermediate status explicitly rather than hiding it, so a workflow can wait for a document to become sendable before sending it and treat a merge failure as the real error it is. Contact creation has no dedup or upsert guard on PandaDoc’s side, so a workflow that cares about duplicates should look a contact up by its exact email first; reading a template’s roles and fields before creating a document is likewise how a request actually succeeds.
Good for generating a proposal or contract from a template the moment a deal reaches a certain stage, sending it for signature automatically, tracking its progress without polling the PandaDoc dashboard, and pulling the finished PDF into storage once every recipient has signed.
Three routes to the same 16 actions. The Workflow tab is generated from PandaDoc's own manifest and carries its real ids, so it is copy-pasteable; the Code and CLI examples are the same call for any action on any app, so every app-specific value in them is a blank you fill in.
contact-create Create a contact in the workspace. PandaDoc treats every field as optional and does not deduplicate by email.
contact-get-many List contacts, optionally narrowed to one exact email address. Use it to check whether a contact exists before creating one.
document-change-status Manually mark a document Completed (2), Paid (10), Expired (11) or Declined (12). Illegal transitions answer 409.
document-create-from-template Create a document from a template. Creation is asynchronous — the document comes back as `document.uploaded` and must reach `document.draft` (poll Get Document Status) before it can be sent.
document-create-session Mint a short-lived embedded signing session for one recipient. Returns the session id and its expiry.
document-delete Delete a document. Soft delete — list it again with the `Deleted only` filter.
document-download Download a document as a PDF, base64-encoded so the bytes survive JSON serialization. PandaDoc rate-limits this route at 100 requests/minute.
document-get Read a document in full — recipients, fields and their values, tokens, pricing, metadata and totals.
document-get-many List documents in the workspace, filtered by status, template, folder, contact, tag or date range.
document-get-status Read a document's current status. Poll this after Create Document until the status reaches `document.draft` — creation is asynchronous.
document-send Send a document for signature. The document must already be in `document.draft` — poll Get Document Status first if it was just created.
document-send-reminder Send a manual reminder to one or more of a document's recipients. Reports per-recipient, per-channel outcomes.
member-get-current Read the workspace member this API key belongs to — membership id, workspace, role and licence.

Every app-specific value here is a blank you have to fill in. An
app action is reached through the connection that authenticates it, so the
address is a connection id, not the app id — and connections belong to your account,
so a public page cannot know yours. Create one for PandaDoc, then fill in
the three blanks: conn_YOUR_CONNECTION_ID, the action key, and the
parameters that action declares. The call itself is real — the shape is transcribed
from the studio's own snippet builder, which prints the same kind of blanks — but
nothing in it is specific to PandaDoc. The Workflow tab is where this app's
real ids are.

Every tool names its target with a single ref. The
app: form above doesn't name a connection at all — the
host resolves which of the caller's PandaDoc connections to sign
with, and refuses rather than guesses when the answer is ambiguous.
The token is attached host-side, at the moment of the call. It is never a tool argument, never in the model's context, and never in a transcript — so a prompt injection has nothing to exfiltrate.
Tools are derived per end user from what that person has actually connected and is entitled to — not one shared bot identity carrying the union of everyone's access.
Multi-step work runs on the workflow engine and returns a run handle the agent can poll — retries, branching and state survive the conversation that started them.
PandaDoc's declared health checks are on the surface too, so an agent can tell "the vendor is down" from "your credential expired" before it burns a retry on either.
The MCP surface is part of the hosted platform. PandaDoc itself is MIT, and the runtime that executes it is source-available (FSL).
PandaDoc declares its own checks, so its health is a property of the app rather than something the host guesses at.
