Overview

This app manages Microsoft Outlook mail and calendar through the Microsoft Graph API: sending, drafting, replying to, forwarding, and organizing messages, and creating, updating, and reading calendar events, including the expanded occurrences of a recurring meeting rather than just its series definition. It covers the two surfaces a user actually means by “Outlook”, deliberately leaving out the much larger Microsoft 365 surface Graph also exposes — contacts, Teams, OneDrive, and directory administration are each their own product with their own consent scopes.

A few details matter for reliability: only event creation is safe to retry automatically, since Graph offers no dedupe key for sending or drafting a message, so those are treated as one-shot actions. Deleting a meeting you organize notifies every attendee, with no way to suppress it, and paging through a large mailbox or calendar follows Graph’s own continuation links rather than reconstructing them, bounded so an unbounded inbox cannot turn into an unbounded run.

Every app-specific value here is a blank you have to fill in. An app action is reached through the connection that authenticates it, so the address is a connection id, not the app id — and connections belong to your account, so a public page cannot know yours. Create one for Microsoft Outlook, then fill in the three blanks: conn_YOUR_CONNECTION_ID, the action key, and the parameters that action declares. Every tool names its target with a single ref. The app: form above doesn't name a connection at all — the host resolves which of the caller's Microsoft Outlook connections to sign with, and refuses rather than guesses when the answer is ambiguous.

What the agent gets

Credentials it can't read

The token is attached host-side, at the moment of the call. It is never a tool argument, never in the model's context, and never in a transcript — so a prompt injection has nothing to exfiltrate.
