io.w6w.mailjetMailjet sends transactional email and manages the contacts, lists and templates it draws on. Send a single message, a templated one, or a batch — with Mailjet reporting success or failure per recipient rather than one status for the whole call — and read back message logs and delivery statistics afterward.
Contacts and lists are manageable end to end: create and update contacts, add or remove them from a list, and bulk-load a set of contacts asynchronously with a job to poll for completion. Listing templates and senders rounds out what’s needed to build a send with confidence that the sender address is actually validated.
A fit for transactional email from an app or workflow — order confirmations, notifications, password resets — and for keeping a contact list in sync as people opt in or out elsewhere. Campaign authoring stays in Mailjet’s own interface; this app is for sending and reading data around it, not building newsletters.
Three routes to the same 17 actions. The Workflow tab is generated from Mailjet's own manifest and carries its real ids, so it is copy-pasteable; the Code and CLI examples are the same call for any action on any app, so every app-specific value in them is a blank you fill in.
create-contact Create a contact (POST /v3/REST/contact). The email is the contact's permanent identity — a duplicate is an error, not an update.
create-contact-list Create a contact list (POST /v3/REST/contactslist). Names must be unique — and a soft-deleted list still holds its name.
get-contact Fetch one contact by numeric ID or email address (GET /v3/REST/contact/{id_or_email}). Returns the usual envelope — the contact is `Data[0]`.
get-contact-import-job Poll a bulk import started by `manage-many-contacts` (GET /v3/REST/contactslist/{id}/ManageManyContacts/{jobId}). `Status` is `Completed` only when done; `Allocated`/`Upload`/`Prepare`/`Importing` all mean still running.
get-message Fetch one message's delivery record (GET /v3/REST/message/{id}). Takes the numeric `MessageID`, NOT the `MessageUUID` — passing the UUID returns a 404.
get-stat-counters Aggregated send/open/click/bounce counters (GET /v3/REST/statcounters). `FromTS` is required unless the resolution is `Lifetime`; `sourceId` is required unless the source is `APIKey`.
list-contact-lists List contact lists (GET /v3/REST/contactslist). Deleted lists are soft-deleted and hidden by default — pass `isDeleted` to see them.
list-contacts List contacts (GET /v3/REST/contact). Walks one page — pass `limit + offset` back as the next `offset`. Scoped to this API key's own contacts database.
list-messages Search sent messages (GET /v3/REST/message). Subject, CustomID and the recipient address are NOT returned unless you enable `showSubject` / `showCustomId` / `showContactAlt`.
list-senders List validated sender addresses and domains (GET /v3/REST/sender). Mailjet rejects any send whose `From` is not validated — this is how to check.
list-templates List templates (GET /v3/REST/template) to find the numeric `TemplateID` that `send-template-email` takes. Filter by `purposes` — marketing, transactional and automation templates share one resource.
manage-contact-lists Subscribe, unsubscribe or remove one contact across lists (POST /v3/REST/contact/{id_or_email}/managecontactslists). Defaults to `addnoforce`, which respects an existing unsubscribe — `addforce` overrides it.
manage-many-contacts Bulk add/unsubscribe/remove contacts on one list (POST /v3/REST/contactslist/{id}/managemanycontacts). ASYNCHRONOUS: returns a `JobID`, not a result — poll it with `get-contact-import-job`. Defaults to `addnoforce`.
send-email Send one transactional email via the v3.1 Send API (POST /v3.1/send). At least one of `textPart` or `htmlPart` is required. NOTE: Mailjet reports per-message failures inside a 200 response — check `Messages[0].Status` is `success`, not just the HTTP status.
send-email-batch Send up to 50 messages in one v3.1 call, passing the `Messages` array through as-is. Response order matches request order. Individual messages can fail inside a 200 response — inspect every `Messages[i].Status`.
send-template-email Send a stored template via the v3.1 Send API (POST /v3.1/send with `TemplateID`). `templateLanguage` defaults to true so `{{var:...}}` placeholders are interpolated. Check `Messages[0].Status` — a per-message failure still returns HTTP 200.
update-contact Update a contact's name or exclusion flag (PUT /v3/REST/contact/{id_or_email}). Mailjet's PUT is a PATCH — omitted fields are left alone. The email address cannot be changed.
A workflow step names the app and the action, and the editor fills in the
connection when you pick one. This is the Step shape from the
workflow spec, carrying Mailjet's real ids.

Every app-specific value here is a blank you have to fill in. An
app action is reached through the connection that authenticates it, so the
address is a connection id, not the app id — and connections belong to your account,
so a public page cannot know yours. Create one for Mailjet, then fill in
the three blanks: conn_YOUR_CONNECTION_ID, the action key, and the
parameters that action declares. The call itself is real — the shape is transcribed
from the studio's own snippet builder, which prints the same kind of blanks — but
nothing in it is specific to Mailjet. The Workflow tab is where this app's
real ids are.

Every tool names its target with a single ref. The
app: form above doesn't name a connection at all — the
host resolves which of the caller's Mailjet connections to sign
with, and refuses rather than guesses when the answer is ambiguous.
The token is attached host-side, at the moment of the call. It is never a tool argument, never in the model's context, and never in a transcript — so a prompt injection has nothing to exfiltrate.
Tools are derived per end user from what that person has actually connected and is entitled to — not one shared bot identity carrying the union of everyone's access.
Multi-step work runs on the workflow engine and returns a run handle the agent can poll — retries, branching and state survive the conversation that started them.
Mailjet's declared health checks are on the surface too, so an agent can tell "the vendor is down" from "your credential expired" before it burns a retry on either.
The MCP surface is part of the hosted platform. Mailjet itself is MIT, and the runtime that executes it is source-available (FSL).
Mailjet declares its own checks, so its health is a property of the app rather than something the host guesses at.
