Manage Hospitable short-term-rental properties, reservations, guest messages, reviews, calendars and operations tasks.
Hospitable ships in the w6w first-party pack. It declares 28 actions, 3 health checks, and the host runs its code in a sandbox that never sees the credential.
io.w6w.hospitableHospitable is host-automation software for short-term rentals: it syncs a host’s Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com and direct-booking listings into one inbox, calendar and set of reservations. This app drives the Hospitable Public API v2 with a Personal Access Token.
A workflow can read the account’s properties, search them for availability on given dates, and read or edit each property’s calendar (availability, nightly price, minimum stay, check-in and check-out restrictions). Reservations can be listed with filters, fetched by UUID or reservation code, created manually, updated or cancelled, with guest, financials, property and review data embedded on request.
The guest-communication side is covered end to end: read a reservation’s messages, send a reply to a reservation or to a pre-booking inquiry, list inquiries, list a property’s reviews and publish the host’s response to one. Operations tasks (cleanings and the like) and the teammates who perform them can be listed, created, updated and deleted, and the account’s payouts and transactions can be read.
A fit for pushing a dynamic-pricing result into a calendar, auto-replying to guests when a booking lands, creating a cleaning task when a reservation is confirmed, or syncing reservations into a CRM or accounting system.
Three routes to the same 28 actions. The Workflow tab is generated from Hospitable's own manifest and carries its real ids, so it is copy-pasteable; the Code and CLI examples are the same call for any action on any app, so every app-specific value in them is a blank you fill in.
channel-list List the booking-platform channels connected to the account (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Agoda, iCal, manual, direct).
inquiry-list List pre-booking inquiries: inbox conversations with no reservation attached. A request to book is a reservation, not an inquiry.
inquiry-message-send Reply to a pre-booking inquiry using its conversation UUID. Accepted asynchronously (HTTP 202) with a sent_reference_id. Limits: 2 messages per minute per inquiry, 50 per 5 minutes. Needs message:write.
payout-list List Airbnb payouts, paginated. Needs transaction:read, and Airbnb accounts authorised before 12 Jan 2024 must reconnect the channel.
property-calendar-get Get a property's calendar: per day the availability status, price, minimum stay and check-in/check-out restrictions.
property-calendar-update Set availability, nightly price, minimum stay, check-in/check-out closures and notes for dates up to 3 years ahead. Applied asynchronously, so a read straight afterwards may not show it yet.
property-images-list List a property's images (url, thumbnail, caption, order). Only images scoped to the Direct channel are returned.
property-reviews-list List the reviews guests have left for a property, paginated. Needs reviews:read.
property-search Check every property's availability and total price for a stay (up to 3 years ahead, at most 90 days). Returns all properties with the reason when one is unbookable.
reservation-cancel Cancel a manual reservation. Only manual reservations can be cancelled here, and only by a Personal Access Token or the vendor that created it. Needs reservation:write.
reservation-create Create a manual reservation with guest details, dates and financials. Needs the reservation:write scope. With a Personal Access Token, minimum-stay rules and blocked dates are ignored, but it cannot overlap an existing booking.
reservation-list List reservations for the given properties. With none of start/end date, booked-at, conversation or reservation code set, the vendor defaults to check-ins in the next 2 weeks.
reservation-message-send Send a message to the guest of a reservation. Accepted asynchronously (HTTP 202) with a sent_reference_id. Limits: 2 messages per minute per reservation, 50 per 5 minutes. Needs message:write.
reservation-messages-list List the messages exchanged with a guest on a reservation. Needs message:read; the vendor allows 2 requests per minute per reservation.
reservation-update Update a reservation. On Direct and OTA bookings only the notes and the check-in/check-out times can change (any other field is a 403); manual bookings accept every field. Send only what should change. Needs reservation:write.
review-respond Publish the host's response to a guest review. Currently supported for Airbnb and Booking.com reviews. Needs reviews:write.
task-create Create a manual operations task (for example a cleaning) on a property, optionally assigned to an internal teammate. Marketplace assignment is not supported. Needs task:write.
task-delete Delete a manual operations task. Marketplace-backed tasks cannot be deleted. Needs task:write.
task-list List operations tasks for one or more properties. Dates default to today through two weeks ahead unless a reservation or teammate filter is set. Needs task:read.
task-update Change a manual operations task: its times, teammate, note, reminder, payment or checklist. Send only what should change. Marketplace assignments cannot be changed. Needs task:write.
teammate-list List the account's internal teammates; use it to find a teammate UUID for Create/Update Task. Needs teammate:read.
transaction-list List the account's transactions, paginated. Needs transaction:read, and Airbnb accounts authorised before 12 Jan 2024 must reconnect the channel.
user-get Get the Hospitable account holder (name, email, billing address) the token acts for.
A workflow step names the app and the action, and the editor fills in the
connection when you pick one. This is the Step shape from the
workflow spec, carrying Hospitable's real ids.

Every app-specific value here is a blank you have to fill in. An
app action is reached through the connection that authenticates it, so the
address is a connection id, not the app id — and connections belong to your account,
so a public page cannot know yours. Create one for Hospitable, then fill in
the three blanks: conn_YOUR_CONNECTION_ID, the action key, and the
parameters that action declares. The call itself is real — the shape is transcribed
from the studio's own snippet builder, which prints the same kind of blanks — but
nothing in it is specific to Hospitable. The Workflow tab is where this app's
real ids are.

One MCP endpoint exposes every app, function and workflow the caller is entitled to, as tools it can discover and run. Access is granted per team while we onboard.
One tool call{
"name": "w6w_invoke",
"arguments": {
"ref": "app:io.w6w.hospitable#inquiry-get",
"input": {
"uuid": "<uuid>"
}
}
}
Every tool names its target with a single ref. The
app: form above doesn't name a connection at all — the
host resolves which of the caller's Hospitable connections to sign
with, and refuses rather than guesses when the answer is ambiguous.
The token is attached host-side, at the moment of the call. It is never a tool argument, never in the model's context, and never in a transcript — so a prompt injection has nothing to exfiltrate.
Tools are derived per end user from what that person has actually connected and is entitled to — not one shared bot identity carrying the union of everyone's access.
Multi-step work runs on the workflow engine and returns a run handle the agent can poll — retries, branching and state survive the conversation that started them.
Hospitable's declared health checks are on the surface too, so an agent can tell "the vendor is down" from "your credential expired" before it burns a retry on either.
The MCP surface is part of the hosted platform. Hospitable itself is MIT, and the runtime that executes it is source-available (FSL).
Hospitable declares its own checks, so its health is a property of the app rather than something the host guesses at.

Unauthenticated GET https://public.api.hospitable.com/v2/user. A 401 carrying Hospitable's JSON `{"message": …}` passes — it proves the API and its auth layer are answering. Token validity is the derived `auth:*` check's job.
