Constant Contact ships in the w6w first-party pack. It declares 22 actions, 2 health checks, and the host runs its code in a sandbox that never sees the credential.
io.w6w.constantcontactConstant Contact syncs contact records from other systems into its lists and gets the email campaigns sent to them under workflow control, on Constant Contact’s own V3 API.
Contacts can be created, updated, upserted, unsubscribed or deleted, with membership managed across lists — including bulk imports and bulk add or remove for large audiences. Campaign creation and campaign activity are readable and writable too, and long-running operations like an import or a bulk list change can be tracked to completion through their own status action rather than assumed done on response.
The three ways to write a contact (create, replace, or upsert-and-merge) and the several ways to stop someone receiving mail (delete, unsubscribe, or remove from a list) each carry real, different consequences in Constant Contact’s own data model, and this app follows the vendor’s own guidance for each. It fits marketing teams consolidating list hygiene, campaign sends and contact lifecycle management into the same automation that handles the rest of their stack.
Three routes to the same 22 actions. The Workflow tab is generated from Constant Contact's own manifest and carries its real ids, so it is copy-pasteable; the Code and CLI examples are the same call for any action on any app, so every app-specific value in them is a blank you fill in.
add-contacts-to-lists Queue a bulk activity adding contacts to one or more lists. Asynchronous — poll the returned activity_id.
create-contact Create a new contact. Fails with 409 if the email already exists — use Create or Update Contact to upsert.
create-contact-list Create a contact list. Fails with 409 if the name is already taken.
create-email-campaign Create a draft email campaign with its primary_email activity. Nothing is sent until it is scheduled.
create-or-update-contact Upsert a contact by email address. Updates are partial; list memberships and custom fields are appended, not replaced.
delete-contact Delete a contact by `contact_id`. Reversible via a PUT with update_source Account — unlike an unsubscribe.
delete-contact-list Queue a contact list for deletion. Asynchronous — poll the returned activity_id with Get Activity Status.
get-account-summary Fetch the connected Constant Contact account's details. Needs the `account_read` scope.
get-activity-status Poll a queued bulk activity. `completed` can still carry per-row errors — read `activity_errors` too.
get-campaign-activity Fetch a single email campaign activity. HTML content and footer details are opt-in via `include`.
get-email-campaign Fetch a campaign with its campaign_activities — the id/role pairs every content and scheduling endpoint needs.
import-contacts Queue a bulk JSON contact import. New contacts land as `implicit` permission. Asynchronous — poll the returned activity_id.
list-contact-lists List contact lists. Walks one page — pass `next_cursor` back as `cursor`. No date filtering: the API has none.
list-contacts List contacts, filtered by status, email, list, tag or date. Walks one page — pass `next_cursor` back as `cursor`.
list-custom-fields List the account's custom field definitions — the source of the `custom_field_id` values the contact actions take.
list-email-campaigns List email campaigns, filtered on `updated_at`. Includes deleted campaigns — the API has no status filter.
remove-contacts-from-lists Queue a bulk activity removing contacts from one or more lists. Asynchronous — poll the returned activity_id.
unsubscribe-contact Opt a contact out of email. Reads the contact first so the required full-replace PUT does not blank their other fields.
update-contact Replace a contact wholesale. Omitted top-level properties are set to null; omitted sub-resources are left alone.
update-contact-list Update a contact list's name, description or favourite flag. Does not change membership.
A workflow step names the app and the action, and the editor fills in the
connection when you pick one. This is the Step shape from the
workflow spec, carrying Constant Contact's real ids.

Every app-specific value here is a blank you have to fill in. An
app action is reached through the connection that authenticates it, so the
address is a connection id, not the app id — and connections belong to your account,
so a public page cannot know yours. Create one for Constant Contact, then fill in
the three blanks: conn_YOUR_CONNECTION_ID, the action key, and the
parameters that action declares. The call itself is real — the shape is transcribed
from the studio's own snippet builder, which prints the same kind of blanks — but
nothing in it is specific to Constant Contact. The Workflow tab is where this app's

Every tool names its target with a single ref. The
app: form above doesn't name a connection at all — the
host resolves which of the caller's Constant Contact connections to sign
with, and refuses rather than guesses when the answer is ambiguous.
The token is attached host-side, at the moment of the call. It is never a tool argument, never in the model's context, and never in a transcript — so a prompt injection has nothing to exfiltrate.
Tools are derived per end user from what that person has actually connected and is entitled to — not one shared bot identity carrying the union of everyone's access.
Multi-step work runs on the workflow engine and returns a run handle the agent can poll — retries, branching and state survive the conversation that started them.
Constant Contact's declared health checks are on the surface too, so an agent can tell "the vendor is down" from "your credential expired" before it burns a retry on either.
The MCP surface is part of the hosted platform. Constant Contact itself is MIT, and the runtime that executes it is source-available (FSL).
