Cloze relationship CRM: people, companies, projects, timeline notes and to-dos, and webhooks.
Cloze ships in the w6w first-party pack. It declares 41 actions, 3 health checks, and the host runs its code in a sandbox that never sees the credential.
io.w6w.clozeCloze is a relationship-management CRM that builds a timeline of every email, call and meeting around the people, companies and projects (deals) you work with. This app drives the Cloze API from a workflow.
Search, read, create, update and delete people, companies and projects; stream changes with the cursored feeds; read a record’s timeline and the messages on it; add to-dos, notes and communication records to a timeline; read your stages, segments, steps, custom fields, tags and team; and subscribe webhooks to record changes.
It authenticates with a Cloze API key sent as a bearer token. The analytics endpoints, team-member updates, form submission and CardDAV are not part of this app.
Three routes to the same 41 actions. The Workflow tab is generated from Cloze's own manifest and carries its real ids, so it is copy-pasteable; the Code and CLI examples are the same call for any action on any app, so every app-specific value in them is a blank you fill in.
communication-create Record an e-mail, call, text, meeting or message on the Cloze timeline.
company-create Create a company, or enhance the existing one when an ID or e-mail matches. Cloze returns no record body.
company-feed Page through changes to your companies with a cursor. Pass the previous result's cursor to continue.
company-find Search your companies with Cloze's query syntax or structured filters, one page at a time.
company-timeline List timeline entry references for a company. Use Get Messages to read their content.
company-update Update an existing company (matched by Cloze ID, unique ID or e-mail); only the fields you set change. Cloze returns no record body.
content-create Add a note, event, to-do or file record to the Cloze timeline, linked to records.
custom-fields-list List the custom fields defined in your account, with their ids and allowed values.
messages-get Read the content of timeline messages, from the references a timeline call returns.
person-create Create a person, or enhance the existing one when an ID or e-mail matches. Cloze returns no record body.
person-feed Page through changes to your people with a cursor. Pass the previous result's cursor to continue.
person-find Search your people with Cloze's query syntax or structured filters, one page at a time.
person-timeline List timeline entry references for a person. Use Get Messages to read their content.
person-update Update an existing person (matched by Cloze ID, unique ID or e-mail); only the fields you set change. Cloze returns no record body.
project-create Create a project, or enhance the existing one when an ID or e-mail matches. Cloze returns no record body.
project-feed Page through changes to your projects with a cursor. Pass the previous result's cursor to continue.
project-find Search your projects with Cloze's query syntax or structured filters, one page at a time.
project-timeline List timeline entry references for a project. Use Get Messages to read their content.
project-update Update an existing project (matched by Cloze ID, unique ID or e-mail); only the fields you set change. Cloze returns no record body.
todo-create Add a to-do (with an optional reminder) to Cloze, linked to people, companies or projects.
A workflow step names the app and the action, and the editor fills in the
connection when you pick one. This is the Step shape from the
workflow spec, carrying Cloze's real ids.

Every app-specific value here is a blank you have to fill in. An
app action is reached through the connection that authenticates it, so the
address is a connection id, not the app id — and connections belong to your account,
so a public page cannot know yours. Create one for Cloze, then fill in
the three blanks: conn_YOUR_CONNECTION_ID, the action key, and the
parameters that action declares. The call itself is real — the shape is transcribed
from the studio's own snippet builder, which prints the same kind of blanks — but
nothing in it is specific to Cloze. The Workflow tab is where this app's
real ids are.

One MCP endpoint exposes every app, function and workflow the caller is entitled to, as tools it can discover and run. Access is granted per team while we onboard.
One tool call{
"name": "w6w_invoke",
"arguments": {
"ref": "app:io.w6w.cloze#communication-create",
"input": {
"style": "<style>"
}
}
}
Every tool names its target with a single ref. The
app: form above doesn't name a connection at all — the
host resolves which of the caller's Cloze connections to sign
with, and refuses rather than guesses when the answer is ambiguous.
The token is attached host-side, at the moment of the call. It is never a tool argument, never in the model's context, and never in a transcript — so a prompt injection has nothing to exfiltrate.
Tools are derived per end user from what that person has actually connected and is entitled to — not one shared bot identity carrying the union of everyone's access.
Multi-step work runs on the workflow engine and returns a run handle the agent can poll — retries, branching and state survive the conversation that started them.
Cloze's declared health checks are on the surface too, so an agent can tell "the vendor is down" from "your credential expired" before it burns a retry on either.
The MCP surface is part of the hosted platform. Cloze itself is MIT, and the runtime that executes it is source-available (FSL).
Cloze declares its own checks, so its health is a property of the app rather than something the host guesses at.
