Manage Alegra accounting data — invoices, contacts, items, payments, quotes and supplier bills — through Alegra's REST API.
Alegra ships in the w6w first-party pack. It declares 24 actions, 3 health checks, and the host runs its code in a sandbox that never sees the credential.
io.w6w.alegraAlegra is a cloud accounting and invoicing platform used by small and mid-sized businesses across Latin America and Spain. This app covers the core bookkeeping loop: list, read, create, void, delete and email sales invoices; manage contacts (clients and providers) and the product and service catalogue; register and void payments; and read quotes, supplier bills, taxes and the company profile.
Authentication is the account email plus the API token generated under Configuración > API in Alegra. Alegra identifiers are strings, lists return at most 30 records per call, and country-specific invoice fields (electronic-invoicing stamps, fiscal codes) can be supplied through each create action’s additional-fields object.
Health checks track the API Alegra Contabilidad component on Alegra’s status page, API reachability, and the documented 150-requests-per-minute rate-limit headroom.
Three routes to the same 24 actions. The Workflow tab is generated from Alegra's own manifest and carries its real ids, so it is copy-pasteable; the Code and CLI examples are the same call for any action on any app, so every app-specific value in them is a blank you fill in.
company-get Fetch the company profile of the account: name, tax id, regime, country version, decimal precision.
contact-delete Delete a contact. Refused (error 1015) while recurring invoices or payments reference it.
invoice-create Create a sales invoice. Without `status` (and without payments) Alegra creates it as a draft.
invoice-delete Delete a sales invoice. Only invoices in draft status can be deleted; use Void Sales Invoice otherwise.
invoice-void Void (anular) a sales invoice. The record is kept but stops counting in accounting.
item-update Edit a product or service. An INACTIVE item cannot be edited: set Status to active in the same call to reactivate it.
payment-create Register a payment (incoming against sales invoices, outgoing against supplier bills).
payment-void Void (anular) a payment. The record stays but no longer affects accounting or reports.
A workflow step names the app and the action, and the editor fills in the
connection when you pick one. This is the Step shape from the
workflow spec, carrying Alegra's real ids.

Every app-specific value here is a blank you have to fill in. An
app action is reached through the connection that authenticates it, so the
address is a connection id, not the app id — and connections belong to your account,
so a public page cannot know yours. Create one for Alegra, then fill in
the three blanks: conn_YOUR_CONNECTION_ID, the action key, and the
parameters that action declares. The call itself is real — the shape is transcribed
from the studio's own snippet builder, which prints the same kind of blanks — but
nothing in it is specific to Alegra. The Workflow tab is where this app's
real ids are.

One MCP endpoint exposes every app, function and workflow the caller is entitled to, as tools it can discover and run. Access is granted per team while we onboard.
One tool call{
"name": "w6w_invoke",
"arguments": {
"ref": "app:io.w6w.alegra#contact-create",
"input": {
"name": "<name>"
}
}
}
Every tool names its target with a single ref. The
app: form above doesn't name a connection at all — the
host resolves which of the caller's Alegra connections to sign
with, and refuses rather than guesses when the answer is ambiguous.
The token is attached host-side, at the moment of the call. It is never a tool argument, never in the model's context, and never in a transcript — so a prompt injection has nothing to exfiltrate.
Tools are derived per end user from what that person has actually connected and is entitled to — not one shared bot identity carrying the union of everyone's access.
Multi-step work runs on the workflow engine and returns a run handle the agent can poll — retries, branching and state survive the conversation that started them.
Alegra's declared health checks are on the surface too, so an agent can tell "the vendor is down" from "your credential expired" before it burns a retry on either.
The MCP surface is part of the hosted platform. Alegra itself is MIT, and the runtime that executes it is source-available (FSL).
Alegra declares its own checks, so its health is a property of the app rather than something the host guesses at.
The `API Alegra Contabilidad` resource on status.alegra.com (Better Stack) decides the verdict. The page also lists the web app, POS, Payroll and Store; those are shown as detail but do not drive the state, because they are different products.
Unauthenticated GET https://api.alegra.com/api/v1/company. A 401 carrying Alegra's JSON `{"message":"Unauthorized"}` passes: the API edge is answering.
Requests remaining in the current 1-minute window, read from the documented X-Rate-Limit-* response headers (150 requests/minute per user).
